Learn about upcycling materials while expressing your creativity!
In this workshop, we will be working with upcycled materials to demonstrate how creativity isn't limited to what you paint; but can also be used to create what you paint with and on!
We’ll kick things off by explaining how to build your own canvas and easel using scrap materials and basic carpentry tools from our inventory.
Together, we will paint a delightful magpie at the Brisbane Tool Library in Northshore, in a relaxed 2–2.5 hour session.
About the Instructor: Marie Robert (Instagram @marie_in_colours)
Marie is a wildlife nurse by day and teaches painting classes by night in Noosa. This workshop is a wonderful combination of her love of nature and art.

Screen printing allows you to create unique, custom designs on all sorts of materials—clothing, posters, tote bags, and more. It’s a hands-on way to express your creativity, whether you're designing for yourself, your community group, or as an artist.
Join us for a hands-on fabric screen printing workshop at the Brisbane Tool Library in Northshore, where you’ll learn the basics in a relaxed 2–2.5 hour session.
We’ll kick things off by explaining how to build your own screen printing frame using basic carpentry tools from our inventory. Then, working in pairs using pre-made Tool Library stencils, you'll create two fabric prints: one to keep and one for us!
